Custom POS & Wholesale Systems

Counter sales, product pricing, purchasing, stock and customer records — designed to work together, around the way you already sell.

Electrical wholesale prototype · Illustrative demo data, not a live client deployment

Concept case study / Electrical wholesale

A more connected way to manage a wholesaler

The operational challenge

Wholesalers coordinate changing supplier costs, trade prices, counter sales, stock movements, purchasing and customer accounts throughout the day. When each task lives in a different tool, maintaining a consistent view becomes harder.

The proposed approach

One browser-based workspace connecting the core workflows, with a focused first release. This prototype demonstrates the intended interface and process before production testing and a controlled launch.

This is an illustrative prototype, not a completed client deployment. Screenshots contain demo data. No measured time savings, financial improvements or customer endorsement are claimed.

Six workflows. One connected concept.

Counter sales & customer pricing

A proposed sales flow that brings product selection, customer pricing and transaction records together.

Product catalogue & pricing

Review SKUs, supplier costs, retail and trade prices, pricing tiers and margins in one place.

Stock visibility

See low-stock items, stock movements and reorder thresholds alongside product information.

Purchasing & goods received

Review reorder suggestions, purchase orders awaiting delivery and receipt status.

Customer & supplier records

Keep account details, pricing terms and supplier information connected to everyday operations.

Management reporting

Bring sales indicators, stock exceptions and recent activity into one browser-based workspace.

Start with the records you already have

Your product lists, prices and customer records may already live in Excel or supplier files. We agree the source formats, import rules and validation first — then design around those records rather than asking you to start again.

From prototype to a working system

  1. Agree requirements, roles, source data and integration scope.
  2. Prepare product, pricing, customer and supplier records; verify opening stock.
  3. Test counter sales, stock movements, purchasing and invoices with representative users.
  4. Run a controlled pilot, resolve feedback and agree the wider launch.

Barcode scanners, payment terminals, supplier imports and Xero connections are subject to agreed scope and compatibility testing. Permissions, backups and recovery must also be validated before go-live.
